Dr. Citrin is also credited with developing and implementing the concept of the freestanding, highly sophisticated outpatient imaging center—a concept imitated nationwide today.

For over 20 years, he served as a senior neuroradiology consultant to the Walter Reed Medical Center. He helped establish Progressive Radiology in 1996.

Dr. Citrin is a senior member of the American Society of Neuroradiology and an active member of the American Medical Association, the American Roentgen Ray Society and the American College of Radiology.
